New Details on 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings'

There has been no spark to ignite a blaze of excitement that usually swells around Marvel Studios yearlong. The drought of new movies and the postponement of shows has caused the fanbase to take what they get during an entertainment famine.

For many, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is foreign, unexplored territory. Marvel is set to surge back to the top in 2021 and with curious comic fans desperate for heroes to return, these new details about Shang-Chi are causing ears to perk up in interest.

In the adaptation of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Mandarin and Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) are first seen as mentor and student. There has been a plot leak that claims that Shang-Chi worked for The Mandarin, which is where the Master of Kung-Fu might've acquired his skills.

On a quite literally larger scale, the dragon Fin Fang Foom is set to appear. It's been known that he would make his presence clear, but ti's more unclear why Marvel has put off bringing in such an impressively monstrous creature.

The use of magic in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is not a stranger, as Doctor Strange ushered in the concept in 2016. The MCU plans to bring back sorcery after it was made clear that sorcerers exist around the world. A triad of wizards tasked with keeping Fin Fang Foom silent will only struggle to do so, causing his emergence.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is still set for a May 2021 release and has resumed production in Australia. The current details about the film are currently few and in-between, but there is hope that more information will surface soon.
